Title : Assistant Director (Corporate Communication)
Description : Profiling and corporate communications for the company, with the media, as well as with international organizations, partner organizations and the industry community. Coordinating duties with secretariat and governing council. Developing a blueprint for profiling and branding of the company. Coordinating in cooperation with other departments, visits to the company and courtesy calls by the company as required. Providing initial responses to public and official enquiries on matters related to the company, coordinating on subsequent responses to these enquiries. Managing of company website and coordinate with other departments on the information disseminating to the maritime community. Maintain regular contact and enlarge the contact with media. Oversee tools and instruments for media management. Organize media briefings and arrange ad hoc interviews. Advise the management on any media fallout. Providing communications and publicity support to other departments. Sending initial drafts of documents, memos and minutes of meeting. Drafting of letters. Collecting and collate from staff of other departments, the drafts of speeches and talking points for local and overseas meetings, conferences, seminars and presentation. Maintain the communication and flow of information. Assisting drafting of reports.
Job Requirements : Degree in any field (Preferably from Mass Communications, Marketing or Marketing Communications). Minimum 5 years experience in civil service. Experience in Maritime industry will be a bonus. Experience in Event Management will be a bonus. May be required to travel to overseas once in a while.
